Spring Flowers

For me the biggest sign of spring is flowers! I love to see the early spring ephemerals that come out before there are even leaves on the trees--a sure sign that winter is over! Here is a picture of some bloodroot and trout lilies in Newmarket.

There are so many areas of the city where raised pedestrian crossings would be game changing. The city needs to build them correctly too as there are a ton of bad ones on the Rail Trail crossings out by Mac that should be redone. We also need level bus platforms where bike lanes are to prevent buses pulling into the bike lane and blocking access.
