Summer 2026 Activities

This summer, staff made significant progress on the Comprehensive Stewardship Plan, which will guide the care of the Preserve over the next 25 years. In July, the updated Stewardship Activity Zones were presented to the Board of Directors and used to shape the draft Plan. Staff also completed a costing analysis and preliminary implementation schedule and gathered feedback from the Internal Project Team and Advisory Committee. The Plan will bring together ecological, cultural, recreational, operational, and financial priorities to guide future stewardship decisions.
